In the latest generation of the I-Cube, the capacity is easily adjustable to different requirements by adding components (shuttles and lifts) or changing their application.

The following functionalities are standard supported in the I-Cube:
- Goods receiving
- Order picking
- Transfers
- Carrousel
- Sorting
- Distribution across zones
- Presorting of rides for transport
- Zone splitting
- Pallet clock function (e.g. for deep-freezing tunnels or quarantine procedures)

If so desired, the I-Cube may be completely integrated with external systems, such as an ERP or a WMS application.

The dashboard function provides a continuous insight into the actual status of the I-Cube. It is also possible to zoom in on each individual action or pallet.

The I-Cube is a multi-functional automated storage system for goods on pallets or other carriers of goods. It is the logistics solution for storage in a warehouse or in a distribution center, in which the cubic meters are optimally used. For a euro pallet of 2 meters high, only 3 cubic meters are required. All movements and placements of goods in the warehouse such as goods receiving and order picking, sorting and grouping, and putting ready outbound goods in drop order, are automatically controlled. This makes the use of logistics staff practically redundant. Only the loading and unloading of goods will require staff in most cases, but also this operation can be completely automated through the use of chain tracks in freight trucks.
