Due to the continuous growth of LSE and its customers, LSE has recently moved into a new distribution center located on the Greenport Venlo business park. The modern and sustainable distribution center of 14,000 m2 has a storage capacity of >20,000 pallet locations and tens of thousands of pick locations.
Flexible, traceable and verifiable with WICS
The orders and the stock are planned and managed in the WICS WMS (Warehouse Management System). This system in which customer-specific agreements can be recorded is very flexible and can be easily linked to other systems such as webshop platforms and ERP systems. Stock, order statuses and shipping information are exchanged real-time with the linked systems.
Different picking strategies from WICS can be applied, allowing LSE to work efficiently. LOT number and best before date are traceable and verifiable throughout the entire process.
Through the Web portal of WICS, LSE customers have real-time insight into their entire stock and the customer is able to create inputs and results in the WMS themselves.
Integration DeliveryMatch
Using the integration with DeliveryMatch, LSE offers worldwide pallet and parcel shipping via various carriers. In consultation with customers, LSE establishes a carrier matrix, whereby the right carrier and service for the right shipping line is chosen, depending on the wishes and requirements of the customer.
One of LSE’s areas of expertise is Value Added Services. Repacking, compiling, assembling, labeling and more is a daily quality-driven service. The WICS WMS ensures that the aforementioned processes of LSE are guided in the right direction on a daily basis.
